Dead kittens found dumped in children's rucksack
 

Five dead kittens have been found in a child's backpack behind a row of houses.
The harrowing discovery was made by a woman in Lodgewood Close, Bulwell on Monday.
Believed to be around five weeks old, the tiny black and white kittens were stuffed into the pink rucksack.

The RSPCA - which is now investigating the incident - believes they may have been drowned before being put into the bag and hidden.
