de Ferrers Trust 'desperate' to get the key for £8.6 million UTC
 

Bosses at the de Ferrers Trust have had a look around the empty £8.6 million building which was purpose-built for the failed Burton and South Derbyshire UTC.
A leadership team visited the building in Waterloo Street, Burton, which is currently vacant after the Department of Education scrapped the opening of the UTC after 18 months of delays.
The building, which is fully equipped for use, is now to be opened to any educational bodies which would like to take it on.
