Hull City's new number one David Marshall gives the Tigers' defence an injection of confidence says caretaker manager Mike Phelan.
The 31-year-old arrived from Cardiff City before the closure of the transfer window on a three-year deal but had to bide his time before ousting Eldin Jakupovic to take his place in the starting line-up.
Despite conceding seven goals in his first two Premier League appearances for City, a 5-1 thrashing at Liverpool and a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea, Marshall's impact at the club has drawn praise from Phelan.
