David Goodwillie rape case accuser 'devastated' the former Scotland star and another footballer wouldn't face charges
A WOMAN who claims she was raped by two footballers said yesterday she was “devastated” to learn they would not face criminal charges.
Denise Clair, 30, gave a statement to prosecutors accusing ex-Scotland striker David Goodwillie and former St Johnstone player David Robertson in May 2011.
But she was later told there would be no prosecution over her allegation that she was raped on January 2, 2011.
She told a court yesterday: “I kind of felt like they didn’t believe me, but I was really quite confused, upset … I was actually devastated.”
