Darren Fletcher admits Scotland are under pressure... but hopes Slovakia will be rattled by defeat by Slovenia



Forced off injured at half-time and then compelled to watch as his Scotland team-mates scrambled their way to a draw, the occasion of Darren Fletcher's 75th cap was the source of scant joy.
Yet as the national team skipper reflected on a night which ended in boos for Gordon Strachan's team, he found a source of comfort in the news filtering back from Ljubljana, where qualification rivals Slovakia suffered a surprise defeat to Slovenia.
Fletcher acknowledges that a draw against a Lithuania team ranked 73 places lower in the FIFA rankings is no cause for Scotland to be dancing a merry jig.... read more
