Danny Willett showed thick skin as he took to the tee for the first time at the Ryder Cup, in the wake of the furore surrounding his brother's comments regarding American golf fans.
The Masters champion faced a cacophony of boos from home supporters, as well as cheers from the pockets of European fans at Hazeltine, after his brother Pete described Americans as 'pudgy, basement-dwelling imbeciles' in a magazine article.
