Frederick Ashton’s delightful send up of life down on the farm has rightly been an audience hit since its creation in 1960, so last Tuesday’s opening of the new season was jam-packed with ballet lovers, rustling their sweetie bags with each twist and turn of the plot.  
They were entertained by Peregrine, the cute little white pony tapping a hoof in time to the music while waiting for our heroine, Lise.
