DAILY BRIEFING: WPP makes new appointment to its board after shock death of director Roger Agnelli

WPP ROLE Global advertiser WPP has made a new appointment to its board after the shock death of director Roger Agnelli.
Agnelli, the former chief executive of iron ore producer Vale SA, died in a Brazil plane crash in March last year along with his family.

Roberto Quarta, WPP chairman, said the board had sought to find someone with similar 'vision, experience and strong interest in the Latin American markets' as Agnelli.
