DAILY BRIEFING: BP cuts deal to buy 100% of the liquefied natural gas from offshore project off Mozambique



AFRICA DEAL BP has announced a deal to buy 100 per cent of the liquefied natural gas produced from an offshore project off Mozambique.
The 20-year partnership is with Eni East Africa, Galp Energia, Kogas and Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos.
Paul Reed, chief executive of BP's supply and trading business, said: 'BP is pleased to play a key role in enabling Mozambique to be an LNG exporting country.'
The value of the deal was not disclosed.
