Dad-of-three jailed for life for murdering man who posed 'no threat to anyone' in South Shields pub

A man who murdered a popular dad as he enjoyed a night out and “posed no threat to anyone” has been jailed for life.
Married father-of-three Michael Wilson attacked Ronnie Howard in The Prince Edward Pub, in South Shields , one evening earlier this year.
The 35-year-old lashed out at his victim, punching him twice with “full force” before kicking him as he lay unconscious on the floor.
Mr Howard, 31, died within minutes, if not seconds, after suffering a traumatic subarachnoid haemorrhage - bleeding on the surface of the brain caused by the rupture of an artery.
