D’Arcy Short has earned his place in Australia’s Twenty20 squad for the triangular tournament involving the two Ashes rivals plus New Zealand after rewriting the Big Bash League’s record books this winter.
The left-handed opener obliterated the previous competition-high tally of 412 runs and hit the BBL’s highest score of 122 versus Brisbane Heat on his path of destruction.
