Croxteth crew killer Liam Duffy to be sentenced for £4.6m drug plot organised from behind bars
 

A convicted killer is due to be sentenced for his role in a £4.6m drugs operation run from behind bars.
Liam Duffy, 35, is serving a 20-year prison term for manslaughter for his role in the killing of 19-year-old gang leader Liam Smith.

Mr Smith, known as “Smigger”, was shot dead after visiting a friend at HMP Altcourse in Fazakerley , Liverpool in 2006, and Duffy was convicted in 2007.
