Cross-border tourism initiative needs more work
 

0 Have your say Promotion of cross-border tourism needs to be improved despite local support for the Borderland Iniative, set up to do just that.
The initiative was created by Scottish Borders Council and Dumfries and Galloway Council with Carlisle City Council, Cumbria County Council and Northumberland County Council and launched by the Scottish Government in 2013. However, despite widespread support, since then little has happened.
