Cristiano Ronaldo rejoins Real Madrid team-mates in training after scooping prestigious European award, as Galacticos seek to end barren run



Champions League Player of The Year Cristiano Ronaldo and his fellow Real Madrid stars returned from the international break this week to get back to business ahead of their looming showdown against Real Betis.
Ronaldo was this week declared 'Champions League Player of The Year', as voted by Spanish and Italian sports papers MARCA and Gazzetta Dello Sport. 
The Portuguese scored 16 goals (and 51 in all competitions) to help Real claim an 11th European Cup/Champions League title last season.
