A drink-driver who ploughed into a Derby chip shop and two houses at 60mph is just one of the Derbyshire criminals locked up in September.
John Hough fled the scene in Chaddesden, abandoning his written-off car. The chippy and two nearby homes were so badly damaged they were deemed "uninhabitable". Hough was found injured hiding nearby.
