Criminal with 102 offences to his name jailed after salon break-in
 

A criminal who tried to smash his way into a Workington hair salon during the night has been jailed for 30 months.
Heavily-convicted Neil Andrew Ivison, 37, was sentenced at Carlisle Crown Court today.
Ivison had denied charges of attempted burglary and having a bladed article following the incident at Barberella Hair and Beauty during the early hours of May 23.
However, he was convicted unanimously of both crimes by a jury who were told he was subject to a suspended jail term at the time.
