Cricket: Drumpellier come up short in derby clash
 

THERE was derby-day disappointment for Drumpellier last weekend.
For the Coatbridge side lost by 23 runs to Uddingston in their Western Premier Division clash.
Uddingston won the toss at Langloan and decided to bat.
However, they were in trouble at 94 for five with South African overseas player Mathew Goles taking three wickets on his debut for the club.
Aamir Gul hung around and forged a vital partnership of 71 with Asif Raza before the latter was caught by Saif Sajjad off the bowling of Harvey Box.
Uddingston were eventually all out for 185, Gul striking 64.
