Criccieth RNLI save two trapped at Black Rock Sands
 

Two people trapped by the incoming tide on a sandbank at Black Rock Sands had to be rescued.
Criccieth RNLI's inshore rescue boat, Margaret a Nantw, was paged by HM Coastguard at 3.15pm on Tuesday following reports four people were stranded on a sandbank at Black Rock Sands – known locally as north bank – due to an incoming tide.
Two people managed to swim ashore but two non-swimmers were left trapped with the tide closing in.
