Coventry City manager search on hold as Mark Venus takes charge until January
 

Caretaker boss Mark Venus is set to stay in charge of Coventry City until January.
The Sky Blues have put their search for a new manager to succeed Tony Mowbray on hold for the time being, allowing the 49-year-old technical director to run team affairs until the New Year when the club will re-assess the situation.
“I think we’ll consider around the transfer window time,” he said, speaking to BBC Coventry and Warwickshire.
“I think we’ll manage the squad we have got and see how we go with the players and then re-evaluate then.”
