Coventry City: A decade of decline - tenth anniversary of Sisu takeover today
 

Coventry City have suffered a decade of decline under London hedge fund owners Sisu.
Today marks exactly ten years since the London hedge fund, headed by chief executive Joy Seppala, took over the Sky Blues - buying out major shareholder Geoffrey Robinson.
The club was just minutes from falling into administration, and potentially out of existence, on December 14, 2007.
But Sisu rode in to save the club and appointed a new chairman, former Manchester City defender Ray Ranson, as promises of major investment in the playing squad were made.
