Courts: Prisoner on parole stole £500 of cosmetics from Boots



A Nuneaton woman stole over £500 worth of cosmetics while on licence following release from prison.
Gemma Potts took the huge gamble to steal the items from Boots at the Ricoh Arena shopping park, but fell short when she caught and ended up back before the court.
She pleaded guilty to stealing the cosmetics worth £504 and breaching her supervision requirements following release from prison.
Potts, 37, of Tudor Road, Nuneaton, was handed a 12-week prison sentence suspended for a year and a three-month curfew with an electronic tag from 7pm-7am.
