Courageous cancer fight inspires Durham fan's tattoo of rival club crest to raise thousands
 

A Manchester United fan who admits he ‘detests‘ Liverpool has got the club’s crest tattooed on his leg for a family friend with leukaemia.
Wayne Ryan, a season ticket holder at Old Trafford, got Liverpool FC’s club logo inked on his calf to help four-year-old Mia Tate who was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia earlier this year.
Wayne, 32, of Shotton Colliery, said: “I’d seen a similar story about a Newcastle Fan who got a Sunderland tattoo. Everyone knows I’m a Red. I decided to go for a Liverpool tattoo as it’s the most brutal one I could go for – I’m always posting on my Facebook... read more
