Councillors to debate and vote on Greater Lincolnshire devolution plans



Councillors are to discuss in further detail plans to create a Greater Lincolnshire Authority.
At a full council meeting on Thursday (September 29), councillors will discuss findings from a consultation report that was undertaken by the 10 local authorities in the county.
The consultation received 4,432 surveys from across Lincolnshire and 783 of the responses were from North Lincolnshire.
Of those responses in North Lincolnshire, 50 per cent favoured a combined mayoral authority while 58 per cent agreed with pursuing more devolved powers for the authority.
