Council pledges £180k to do up play areas in Leek, Cheadle and Tean



MORE than £180,000 is to be spent on refurbishing three children's play areas.
Tean Road Recreation Ground, in Cheadle, The Wentlows, in Upper Tean, and Ball Haye Recreation Ground, in Leek, are all to undergo much-needed makeovers.
Staffordshire Moorlands District Council has secured the cash from developers to transform the facilities which have fallen into disrepair over the last few years.
