Council gritters out in Scunthorpe tonight...



NORTH Lincolnshire Council gritters are out in the region tonight...but not for the reason you may think.
The local authority's fleet of gritting lorries are out on a test run to make sure that the vehicles are working as they should be.
The Scunthorpe Telegraph was granted access to the council's depot on Billet Lane, which houses 5,000 tonnes of salt!
The fleet of 10 vehicles cover nine routes across North Lincolnshire and are more than ready for action when the cold weather arrives.
