Council digs ditch to keep travellers off beauty spot



A ditch is being dug around a beauty spot to keep out travellers.
Flintshire Council has already started work on building a shallow trench and earth mound around Buckley Higher Common.
The move to secure the perimeter of the site comes after round 20 caravans were parked on the popular green near to the lake in July this year.
The local authority shared plans and consulted with local residents about the type of security measures needed at the site.
