Council bans party balloons from being released into the sky
 

A council has decided to ban helium balloons and lanterns being released into the sky.
Canterbury City Council says they are concerned about the danger to wildlife and littering and anyone breaching the order could face a £100 fine.
Some people have said the move is ‘pathetic’, but farmers have said they are for the ban.
