Conwy crash traps seriously-injured man for almost two hours
 

A man was trapped in his car for almost two hours while firefighters tried desperately to cut him free.
The motorist suffered serious injuries in the one-vehicle smash on the B5381 near Betws yn Rhos at about 8.50am.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed two fire crews from Colwyn Bay were sent to the scene.

The roof of the vehicle had to be cut off to free the man.
He was finally removed at roughly 10.45pm and was then taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in Denbighshire for further treatment.
