Coneygree trainer concerned over lack of turf time in build up to return from injury at Haydock



The team behind Coneygree are hoping his lack of opportunities to gallop on grass after a dry autumn will not hamper the 2015 Gold Cup winner as he returns from injury at Haydock on Saturday.
The Mark Bradstock-trained nine-year-old, who won the Gold Cup as a novice, is one of 10 declarations for the £200,000 Betfair Chase, in which he will clash with two dual winners — Cue Card (2013, 2015) and Silviniaco Conti (2012, 2014).
