Concerns of ambulance shortages as police officers take casualties to hospital



Police officers had to take casualties to hospital due to a lack of ambulances in the area, according to the county's top cop.
Chief Constable Neil Rhodes tweeted that 'EMAS needs to be properly resourced' after incidents last night in Lincolnshire.
And there were more claims, this time a statement reportedly from a Grantham police officer, about the situation in Lincolnshire.
Officers from both Lincoln and Boston ended up working as ambulances last night. EMAS needs to be properly resourced.
