Con man dad of X Factor star faces jail over £4.7m fraud
 

The father of X Factor star Ella Henderson is facing up to 10 years in jail after conning wealthy investors in a £4.7million get-rich-quick scheme.
Sean Henderson was convicted of one count of conspiracy to defraud and one count of VAT fraud over the course of three trials.
Henderson was heavily involved in his daughter’s career after she finished sixth in the 2012 X Factor finals.
Ella, whose grandfather was ­Scottish, was then signed by Simon Cowell’s label and her debut album, Chapter One, reached No1.
