Comment: What West Brom's pre-season and transfer strategy says about left-back plans



Tony Pulis ' never-ending quest to sign a left-back is beginning to resemble the painting of the Forth Bridge.
It's proving an exhaustive exercise, one Pulis initiated not long after joining West Bromwich Albion in January 2015.
Yet the Baggies are gearing up for a third successive season without a recognised left-back, at least not one Pulis has faith in.
The Welshman has attempted to remedy the situation this summer, but with no success.
Albion took discussions a long long way with Leeds United and Arsenal, over Charlie Taylor and Kieran Gibbs respectively.
