Comment: Decisive double-header for Coventry City caretaker boss Mark Venus
So far Mark Venus has held back from publicly throwing his hat into the ring for the vacant Coventry City manager’s job.
When asked, the 49-year-old caretaker boss has said he’s ‘enjoying’ being back on the grass and why wouldn’t he after overseeing back-to-back victories for the Sky Blues.
Personally, I think he wants it and if he gets three points at The Valley this weekend, swiftly followed by the maximum haul at home to Oxford United on Tuesday, I believe he’ll be more open about the possibility of him succeeding his long-time friend and colleague Tony Mowbray.
