Colwyn Bay chip shop hit by fire for second time in 15 months



A takeaway owner has seen his chip shop business go up in flames – for the second time in 15 months.
Firefighters were called to Chips Ahoy on Sea View Road, in Colwyn Bay, shortly before 10pm last night.
The road was closed as firefighters dealt with the blaze, which was out by 10.20pm.
Three members of staff who helped tackle the flames before the two fire crews from Colwyn Bay arrived were treated for smoke inhalation.
