Colwyn Bay care home to shut with almost 60 jobs lost
 

A care home for adults with severe learning difficulties will close by the end of the year.
Furze Mount in Colwyn Bay is equipped to look after 16 residents, including some with Down Syndrome, autism and epilepsy.
The closure places 57 jobs at risk.
The home on Copthorne Road in upper Colwyn Bay is part of the MHC group which operates across North Wales and the north west of England.
MHC have told the Daily Post staff will be re-deployed.
Earlier this year the group closed its Plas Coch establishment in St Asaph.
