Clown sighting in Flintshire prompts calls for parents to be held accountable
 

Parents need to be held accountable for their children’s actions if they join in the “clowning” craze sweeping North Wales, a councillor has said.
Buckley Cllr Carol Ellis spoke out after a picture emerged on the Clown Sightings UK Facebook of a sinister looking character in a clown mask lurking on the town’s Common.
Her comments come a day after fellow county councillor Christine Jones slammed the activity after a “clown” jumped out on a woman in her 30s from behind a secluded bus shelter in Deeside.
