CITY DIARY: Tony Blair's former tennis partner teams up with Mitt Romney's Bain Capital



Mega-rich ex-Credit Suisse banker Russell Chambers has joined former Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney's Mayfair-based private equity firm Bain Capital. 
Fair-haired Chambers, 55, a Gatsby-esque figure who gargles only the finest clarets, has always moved in lofty political circles. 
An ex-tennis partner of Tony Blair, he and fellow schmoozer, city spinner Roland Rudd, helped craft the ex-PM's lucrative post-Downing Street career.
