City council threatens police action threat for striking Unison school support staff in Derby
 

A row over striking support staff handing out stickers and sweets to pupils outside schools has escalated after Derby City Council threatened to involve the police if it continued.
The threat, which follows an incident at a city school during the last strike on Thursday, October 6, comes as members of union Unison prepare for two more days of strike action on Thursday and Friday this week, in support of their claim for fair pay.
