City centre Yates temporarily shut down after Environmental Health inspection



Liverpool’s Queen Square Yates pub has temporarily closed following an Environmental Health inspection.
It voluntarily shut down after Liverpool council officers found “issues which needed to be addressed”.
Although Yates have not yet confirmed what the problems were, an ECHO reporter at the scene witnessed pest control workers entering the building with what appeared to be plastic rodent traps.
The worker, who was entering via the service door, had unloaded a number of the devices from a pest control van.
