City centre scuffle leads to arrest at Chester Cathedral by police
 

Rob Stratford A man was arrested on Chester Cathedral grounds following a suspicion of assault.
Yesterday (Wednesday, October 12) around 9pm police were called to Princess Street following reports of an altercation between five men.
When police arrived at the scene, two men fled, running through the grounds of the Chester Cathedral before being stopped.
A 34 year old man was released from custody without charge.
A second man, 29, from Chester remains in custody.
Poppy Roberts, 19, a student at the University of Chester, witnessed the incident.
