City centre pub to offer FREE meals to homeless for Christmas

A city centre pub will throw open its doors to feed the homeless and lonely this Christmas.
Staff at Digbeth’s Old Crown pub will volunteer their time on Christmas Eve as they feed up to 60 diners for free.
They will be given a full Christmas dinner and turkey rolls.
Now the pub is calling for help to put together ‘care packages’, which they will also hand out on the day.
Ciaran Healy, owner of the pub, said: “We want to reach out to those in need this Christmas.
