Chris Coleman demands life bans for those guilty of accepting bungs: 'I have zero respect for anyone caught because it is people stealing money'
Chris Coleman has called for life bans to be issued to anybody in football found guilty of accepting bungs, equating the practice to stealing.
The Wales manager launched a passionate plan to protect the integrity of the game in the wake of allegations that Premier League managers are corruptible by agents looking to place players at clubs.
Coleman said evidence of wrongdoing must pass the burden of proof, but claimed that, because any suggestion of impropriety 'tarnishes all in the game with the same brush', the sternest punishment must then be meted out by governing bodies.
