​Children's noisy protest outside Leicester Town Hall over proposed adventure playgrounds cut



Chanting children banging drums staged a noisy protest outside Leicester Town Hall to complain about proposed cuts to funding for the city's adventure playgrounds.
The nine council-funded playgrounds and Belgrave Playhouse are used by some 10,000 children aged between five and 16.
Youngsters from all the playgrounds protested before the start of a meeting of the full city council this evening.
