Child arrests in Cheshire down by 31% over past five years
 

The number of children arrested in Cheshire has dropped by 31% over the past five years.
Figures published this week by the Howard League for Penal Reform reveal Cheshire police arrested 1,292 boys and girls aged 17 or younger last year.
That compares to 1,870 in 2010.
