Chesterfield chairman and director Dave Allen resigns from both roles



Chesterfield chairman and director Dave Allen has resigned from both positions, the club have announced.
Allen had previously been Chesterfield chief executive but took over as chairman in 2012 to help the club out of financial difficulty.
Chesterfield finished top of League Two in 2011 and 2014 but currently sit bottom of League One, with only 12 points from 17 games.
