Chester Zoo staff given national award for saving schoolgirl's life
Chester Zoo staff who saved the life of a young schoolgirl when she suffered a cardiac arrest while visiting the tourist attraction have been honoured with a national award.
The 2016 Heart Safe Awards saw individuals from Chester Zoo’s first aid team winning the Lifesaver of the Year accolade.
Zoo staff also took home the Leisure and Tourism Organisation of the Year award for the second time running.
