Chester church granted funding to revamp community building
 

Community groups are to benefit from improvements to the Christ Church Chester’s Mission House in Newtown , thanks to generous grants.
Cash boosts of £46,272 from WREN FCC Community Action Fund and £10,000 from the Ursula Keyes Trust were added to by donations from the All Churches Trust (£1,000) and councillor Sam Dixon (£500).
Work on the building starting next week will provide a fully refurbished building with new roof, damp proofing, plastering and pointing providing a bright new space for church and community groups in Newtown.
