Cheshire Police appeal for witnesses after serious assault in Crewe

A 44-year-old man is receiving ongoing treatment after he was seriously assaulted in a town.
The man, along with two friends, was walking along Nantwich Road, in Crewe, at around 11pm on Saturday when they were approached by a group of people.
The group then began to attack the victim, causing him serious facial injuries. The man has since been discharged from hospital.
