Cheltenham Festival winner Ballyalton suffers another injury setback
Ballyalton, the gelding bought by golfer Lee Westwood to race in the colours of his father John, is facing another long spell on the sidelines.
The nine-year-old won Close Brothers handicap chase at the Cheltenham Festival in March when defying top weight.
It was Ballyalton's second big performance at the meeting having finished second to Faugheen in the 2014 Neptune Investements Novices' Hurdle.
He was off the track for 18 months after that run.
