Chelsea 'investigating' after chartered Thomas Cook train left hundreds of furious supporters stranded following Liverpool clash at Anfield



Chelsea are investigating the fiasco that left hundreds of supporters stranded in Liverpool after the 1-1 draw at Anfield. 
The club tweeted an apology after the club's travel partner Thomas Cook Sport failed to provide three of four coaches, meaning fans subsequently missed their train. 
The officially chartered train left without them and Chelsea promised to update supporters with the outcome of their investigation. 
Thomas Cook Sport had earlier taken Blues fans from London Euston and Watford Junction to Merseyside for the game, which kicked off at 5.30pm.
